On 21st June 2022 International Yoga Day, Yoga Awareness Programme was conducted by Mrs. Y. Rama Pallavi, M.Sc Yoga, Yoga Instructor from Red Cross Society, Kakinada.

On 22nd July 2022 a warm Farewell was given to our Final year students.

As a part of 75 Glorious years of our Independence, our students gave a special tribute to our mother land, by conducting Patriotic rally in the streets of Samalkot and organized a Flash Mob at Gadiyaram Center, Near Railway Station, Samalkot. The flash mob has been applauded by all the circles in the town and has been widely covered by the Press and Electronic Media.

On 29th November, 2022 the Department of Computer Science has hosted is Departmental day IT Parlance. Activities like power point presentation, coding hub, IT show case, Peripheral Expo, were conducted at Inter and Intra College levels. Mr. Ravi Rimmalpudi, Founder, Spartan solution, Mr. Y. Chalapathi Rao, Founder Zonup Technologies, Mr. R. Radha Krishna, Principal, KSN Jr. College, are invited as the judges and guests for the event.

A special mention should be given to the short term Internships offered by the YRL Computer Science Department to the 5th Semester Students. The students are given exclusive training in Web technologies for the period 8 weeks by Zonup Technologies, Kakinada. I appreciate the efforts of Mr. Y. Jagadeesh, HOD Computer Science Department for his Initiative in conducting the Internships.

On 8th December, 2022 Give-A-Talk Session was conducted by Dr. A.N. Satya Kumar, Scientist-C, CSIR, Hyderabad on the topic of space sciences called satellite Geodesy and Geodynamic applications for the society.

On 22nd December, 2022 Maths Day was celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of the Indian Maths genius Sri Ramanujan. Activities like Maths Quiz and Maths Puzzle show were conducted. Sri Kameswara Rao, Govt. Degree Colleg,e Pithapuram, has given a guest talk on the Importance of Mathematics. I appreciate our Maths Faculty Mr. Nookeswara Rao, & Mr. Ravi Kumar for organizing the event successfully.

On 23rd December, 2022 the Department of Commerce & Management has conducted YRL Entrepreneurship contest through Make-a-Business Stall show. Students have setup various stalls and sold their products. The stall which have done the best business is given YRL Entrepreneurship 2022-23 Trophy.

On 24th December, 2022 National Consumer Day was celebrated by the Department Commerce & Management. activities like Poster Presentation, YRL Consumer Club inauguration were done on that day. Smt. Susi Chakka, Member, Consumer Dispute redressal Commission, Kakinada Dist., Smt. T. Lakshmi Kumari, Advocate, were invited as the Guests for the Programme. I appreciate the efforts of Mr. G. Srinivas, HOD, Commerce & Management studies, Mr. Gangadhar, Mr. Rama Krishna, Mrs. Nandini, for their efforts in organizing this programme.

On 28th December, 2022 Mental Health Exhibition and Awareness workshop was conducted in our college by all India Psychological association. 15 Psychologists from all over Andhra Pradesh has participated in conducting this programme. Memory techniques, Hand Writing Analysis, Brain Game, Stress Measurements, Emotional Intelligence, Happiness levels, Personality Assessments, were carried out on the students.

On 31st December, 2022 YRL Rangoli Competition was conducted to our students at Kanyaka Parameswari Temple, Samalkot. Over 100 students have participated in this competitions.
