YRL Institutions are the visionary products of Our Chairman Dr. Y. Manikyam, an eminent academician and a man of great vision and commitment. Hailing from a humble background, he earned is Doctorate Degree in Zoology, rendered 40 years of Teaching service and Retired as Principal of Ideal Degree College, Kakinada.

His passion for Teaching and Imparting Quality Education to Rural Students has motivated him to establish YRL Degree College in the year 2008.The Prime moto of YRL Institutions is to impart quality education that facilitates the transformation of Students into Good Human beings, Responsible Citizens and Competent Professionals

YRL Degree College was started in the year 2008 under Fernando Martinez Educational Society with a modest strength of over 100 students. It has grown through leaps and bounds, standing up proudly with the present strength of over 600+ students from about 25 areas around samalkot mandal. As a part of its expansion YRL D.Ed College, was started in the year 2012 and YRL High School in the year of 2015. YRL is established with the best infrastructure facilities – which includes a Seminar Hall of 300+ Seating and a Computer Lab equipped with 50 Systems with Lan and Wi-fi facility.

Academics are given utmost importance. We have an Experienced team of Qualified Teaching fraternity. Weekend Examinations and MID Examinations are conducted in every Semester that helps the Students to perform better in the University Examinations. Activities, both Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular activities are also given due importance, which ensures an All-Round Development of the Student.
